Thakur Ji Tablewares

If you go behind the jail in the Civil Line area, you will find Thakur Ji Tablewares. It’s an interesting spot to be located, but everyone around here knows the landmark, so we never have to give complicated directions to people. We deal with plates, bowls, and all sorts of things you’d use on a dinner table at home. Our shop is filled with stacks of items reaching up to the ceiling, and you have to be careful where you walk so you don’t knock anything over. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes, especially when we get a fresh delivery of ceramic goods. We’ve been at this Civil Line location for a long time. It’s a quiet enough street except for the occasional noise from the main road. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly come to us because they’ve heard from a friend that we have what they need for their homes or for a party they are hosting. We keep it simple. If we have it in stock, we sell it to you at a fair price. We aren't trying to be a fancy boutique store. We are just a local business selling tableware. Sometimes the inventory gets a little dusty if it’s been on the higher shelf for a while, but we give it a good wipe before it goes out. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out with the sales. We like the neighborhood here in Civil Line.
