S. Exports & Imports

Working at S. Exports & Imports means being right in the middle of things at No. 111 Lajpat Nagar. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is always crowded and full of energy. Our office is a small space tucked away from the main noise, but we still hear the horns honking all day long. We deal with both exports and imports, which means we are constantly juggling different time zones and schedules. It gets a bit confusing sometimes, especially when we are waiting on a message from someone halfway across the world. The desks are usually covered in tea cups and shipping labels. We have a small staff, and we have all been working together for quite a while, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; if someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. A lot of our time is spent on the phone, trying to track down where a particular container has gone or why a payment is taking so long to process. It is a lot of practical, everyday problem-solving. We just keep our heads down and do the work because that is what needs to happen. Lajpat Nagar is a great place to be located, even if parking is a nightmare for everyone involved.
