Our place, Judi Impex, is right near Madina Masjid in Mangal Pura. If you know Sarai Tarin, you know it’s a tight-knit area. There’s always some activity going on outside the doors. Most of the time, we’re just focused on getting the impex jobs done. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, but we like it that way. You hear the calls to prayer from the mosque, and it helps keep track of the day. The shop itself is simple. We don’t have leather chairs or fancy offices. Just some desks and a lot of space for the goods. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a cart or a delivery van, and we have to help move things along. We’ve been in this part of Sarai Tarin long enough that the neighbors all know us by name. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on things that don't help with the work. Usually, it's just a few of us here. We handle the shipping and receiving ourselves mostly. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty. We don't have a website that looks professional or anything. We just use the phone and talk to people face to face when they come by. Mangal Pura has its own rhythm, and Judi Impex just fits into it. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the vendors nearby. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes, it gets a bit chaotic for a day or two.
