Akram Exim

Our business, Akram Exim, is located at Akrami Manzil on Moulana Akram Naeemi Road, right near the Lal Masjid. It is a very specific spot that most locals know well. The building has been in the family for a bit, and it’s where we do all our daily operations. Akram Exim is a small operation, really. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day you might be on the phone, and the next you are packing a box. Moulana Akram Naeemi Road is usually buzzing with people, especially near the masjid. We can hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives us a nice sense of time. Inside Akrami Manzil, things are a bit crowded with all our supplies. We have stuff piled up in the corners, but we know where everything is. It might look messy to someone else, but it makes sense to us. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive rugs. The focus is just on the work we have to do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a simple life and a simple business. We are just glad to be working in such a historic part of town. It feels right being here on this street. We just take things one day at a time and try to finish our list.
