Asons Overseas

Being located in the Ashrafi Complex here in Kisrol means things are rarely quiet. There is always someone moving something in the hallways or a motorbike parked where it shouldn't be. Asons Overseas is tucked away in here, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us trying to stay organized amidst all the boxes and files. Kisrol is a crowded area, so getting shipments in and out takes a bit of planning, or sometimes just a bit of luck with the traffic. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look bigger than we are. The office is full of samples and old ledgers that we still use because they work fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and chat until it comes back on. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We know the other shop owners around the complex quite well by now. We mostly handle the overseas stuff, which sounds more complicated than it really is once you get the hang of the paperwork. We’ve had some long nights here when a big order needs to be ready, but that’s just part of the job. It feels like a second home to most of us because we spend so much time here. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
