The Spanning Kids School

The Spanning Kids School is tucked away at 2616-E in Sector 125, which is part of Old Sunny Enclave in Kharar. This is a residential area, so it feels a bit more like a home than a big institution. We have smaller rooms that are filled with all kinds of colorful things—charts on the walls, plastic toys in the corners, and little chairs for the younger ones. Because we are in Mohali, it’s a fast-growing place, and you can see new houses going up around us all the time. Our school yard isn’t huge, but it’s enough for the children to run around a bit and play on the slides. We have a few trees that give some shade during the hotter parts of the day. The morning starts with parents dropping off their toddlers, and there is always a bit of a fuss at the gate with some crying and some laughing. We spend the day doing simple things like singing songs, learning the alphabet, and having snacks. The teachers here are very patient because they have to be with such small kids. It’s a simple place, really. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on the families in Old Sunny Enclave knowing who we are. It’s a noisy, happy kind of environment most of the time, and we just keep things moving along every day. Some of the paint on the swings is chipped, but they still work fine.
