Mount Litera Zee School Derabassi

Mount Litera Zee School Derabassi sits on Mubarikpur Road, which is a part of the Sundra and Mubarikpur area near Zirakpur. It is a bit of a trek for some people, but it is a busy corner of the world these days. The school building is quite large, and we spend a lot of time walking from one end to the other just to get simple things done. In the mornings, the dust from the road sometimes blows into the front yard, so we are always sweeping. We have a lot of rooms to keep track of, and the schedule is usually packed from start to finish. The teachers here are mostly locals or people who have moved to the Zirakpur area recently. We don’t have a big PR department or anyone to write polished stories about us. Instead, you’ll find us in the hallways talking about the latest school board notices or trying to figure out why the printer isn't working again. It’s a practical environment. We have kids coming in from all over Derabassi, and they bring a lot of energy that keeps us on our toes. The afternoon sun hits the windows on the west side pretty hard, so we’re often drawing the curtains to keep the classrooms cool enough for the last few lessons. It’s just a regular place where we show up, do the work, and go home after the buses depart.
