Chakwal National Sr Sec School

Over here at Chakwal National Sr Sec School in Kurali, things stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday every week. We have been sitting on this same plot for a long time now, and the building has that look of a place that’s been through many seasons and seen a lot of faces. It’s a pretty simple setup really. We have the senior wing and the younger kids, and they all mix together in the yard during the lunch hour for a bit of chaos. Kurali is a small enough place that you see the same familiar faces every morning at the front gate. The teachers here aren't into using big fancy words; they just want to make sure the kids actually understand their math and science before the exams come around. We’ve got a staff room that usually smells like tea around eleven o'clock when everyone takes a quick break. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days, but the classrooms are functional and that is what matters most to us at the end of the day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that to get people in. Most families find us because their older brother or sister came here years ago. It’s a lot of routine. You hear the bell ring, you hear the shuffling of feet, and then the quiet of a lesson starting. We deal with the usual stuff like broken chalk and missing pens. It is just a regular school trying to do right by the families in the neighborhood without any extra drama.
