St Anns School

We have been operating here on Nunna Road in Ajit Singh Nagar for quite a long time now. Most people around the Pnt Colony area know where we are because of the big metal gate and the old trees. It is a busy spot, especially in the early mornings when the buses pull up and the kids start piling out with their bags. We just handle the daily classes and try to make sure things run as they should without too much trouble. The classrooms are pretty basic with standard wooden desks and old blackboards, but they work well enough for what we need. Sometimes the road outside gets very loud with all the trucks and cars passing by toward the main part of the colony, but the kids seem used to it. We keep the main gate shut during the day for safety reasons. Teachers usually show up quite early to get their desks sorted before the first bell rings at eight. It isn’t a fancy or polished place, just a regular school where kids come to learn their lessons. We have a couple of large trees in the corner of the yard that give some good shade when the sun is out. The desks are the old heavy kind, and we spend time over the breaks trying to keep them in good shape. Parents usually drop their children off on their way to work in the morning. It gets much quieter once the lessons start and you can just hear the teachers talking through the open windows. We deal with the usual local stuff like power cuts or making sure the water tanks are filled up for the day. It’s a real part of the neighborhood here.
