Paragon Senior Secondary School

Sector 71 in Mohali is where we have been for years. If you know this part of Chandigarh, you know it’s changed a lot lately, but our school has stayed pretty much the same. We are located right in the heart of the sector, making it easy for parents to find us. It’s a senior secondary school, so we deal with the older kids mostly, though the younger ones are around too. The building is sturdy and has seen many seasons of Mohali weather. We don’t spend much time writing fancy pamphlets or trying to sound like a big corporation. We just open the gates in the morning and do what needs to be done. The classrooms are full of desks and boards, and there is usually a lot of chatter in the hallways between lessons. We have a playground, though it’s not huge, where the kids get some air. Working here means getting used to the rhythm of the school year, from the hot summer months to the chilly winters we get in this region. Most of our staff have been around for a long time. We know the local families and they know us. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We focus on the books and the daily tasks. No one here is looking for fame; we just want to make sure the school day goes well for everyone involved. It is just a regular school life here in Mohali.
