Being out here in Laupara is quite different from being in the big city. Wipro Infotech is located right in the Midnapure district of West Bengal. Our address is simple, just the post office at Laupara, and the pin code is 721517. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Most people around the village know us. It’s a quiet place for the most part, which helps when we need to concentrate on our work. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights outside. It’s just a regular building where we handle our daily business. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and wait or talk for a bit until it comes back on. That is just life here. We don’t have a lot of staff, but everyone who is here knows their job well. We aren’t trying to be something we’re not. We just show up, open the doors, and do the work that needs doing. The roads can get a bit muddy during the rainy season, so getting to the office takes a bit longer then. But we’re used to it by now. We see the same faces every day and that’s nice. It feels like we are part of the local scene. We handle our paperwork and tech stuff without making a big fuss about it. It is a humble setup but it works for us and the people who need us. We keep things going as best as we can.
