We don't have a big street number that everyone recognizes, but people in West Bengal know the area well. The air is a bit different here, a bit slower than the city life. We spend most of our time in front of screens. It’s a simple office with a few desks and a lot of cables running along the floor. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we just have to be patient until it comes back. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just us in this small space. We eat lunch together most days. The local market isn't too far, so we walk there when we need supplies or just a break. Kharagpur is known for the institute, but we are just over in our own corner doing our bit. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We have some old computers in the back that we use for spare parts. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The work keeps us busy enough that the days go by fast. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing.
