Our place is located in the MES Colony at the Air Force Station in Salua, over in Kharagpur. It’s specifically Quarter Number 219/2. Being on or near the base means things are usually pretty orderly and quiet around here. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city of Midnipur, but we like the pace. We handle various tasks for Encoreindia Pvt.Ltd, mostly keeping things running for our clients. The office isn't big, just a functional room where we keep our files and computers. Because of the location, we see a lot of military personnel and their families passing by. It’s a tight-knit community in this part of West Bengal. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people who need us already know where we are. Our days start early and we try to finish up before it gets too dark, as the area can be a bit lonely at night. We do a lot of paperwork and coordination. It’s the kind of job where you just focus on what’s in front of you. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather gets really humid, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture in this colony. It’s just a normal office job in a very specific part of town, nothing more than that.
