You can find us at Plot 26 in Partapur Chaudhry. We are right on Road Number 4 in Izzat Nagar. The Central Jail is just nearby, so people usually use that as a landmark to find the turn into our street. It’s an industrial area, so there’s a lot of welding and grinding sounds coming from our shop throughout the day. We do a lot of steel fabrication work here. Most days are spent cutting pipes or joining beams together. It's heavy work and our hands are usually covered in grease or soot by noon. The shop floor is quite large since we need space for the longer pieces of steel that come in. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s just a small corner with a table and a few plastic chairs where we talk to customers. Sometimes we’re working outside on the plot if the weather allows and the project is too big to fit inside comfortably. The trucks come in through the main road to drop off raw materials like iron bars. We’ve gotten to know the other fabricators around Izzat Nagar pretty well over the years. We stay busy with local projects mostly. It’s honest work, and though it gets tiring standing on the concrete all day, we like seeing things get built from scratch. We usually wrap up as the sun goes down and get ready to do it again the next morning.
