Dk Fabrication

You have to go down Reta Wali Gali in Bhagwatpura to find us. The address is D.K.F.S.B.R 89, but mostly people just look for the shop with the iron rods sticking out. The lane is pretty narrow, so if two bikes come from opposite ways, someone has to back up. It is a tight squeeze but we make it work. We do a lot of cutting and joining metal here. My shoes are always ruined by the sparks. We have some old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work fine. The air smells like hot iron and grease most of the time. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom. It is just the workshop and a small desk where we keep the notebook for orders. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes in and sits in the shade. We just let him stay. It gets dark in the back of the shop, so we have some extra tube lights hanging from the ceiling. We mostly deal with the local folks who need stuff fixed or made for their houses. Dk Fabrication has been in this gali for years now. It is just a regular life of working with your hands and dealing with the heat. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
