Bharat Metals

You can find Bharat Metals over in Udyog Pura, specifically at plot D-58. It’s an industrial area, so there are always sounds of machinery and trucks moving around. Our place is basically a big shed where we handle different types of metals all day. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we are used to that by now. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have a small corner with a desk and some chairs where we keep the books. Most of the space is taken up by the materials we are processing. The walls are a bit stained from the dust and the metal work, but it’s a working environment, not a showroom. We start work early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Every day is pretty much the same: unloading stuff, moving metal around, and getting things ready for whoever needs them. We don’t use a lot of big words or have meetings that last for hours. We just talk about what needs to be moved and where it needs to go. The road outside is a bit rough with some potholes, but the trucks manage just fine. It’s a simple business run by people who don’t mind getting their hands a bit dirty. We’ve been at D-58 for a long time and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It is just a regular metal yard.
