Tata Metaliks Di Pipes Limited

Our location is out in Khadagpur, specifically in the Samrapur area of West Midnapur. It is a large site where we focus on making DI pipes. These pipes are used for water lines and things like that. You can see the whole factory from the main road as you drive by. It involves a lot of iron work and casting processes. The shifts here run late into the night. We have people coming from all over the district to work here every single day. It is definitely not a quiet job. There is a lot of steam and the constant sound of heavy metal hitting metal. We have been operating here for many years. The post office is in Samrapur, so that is where we get all our mail. It almost feels like a small town once you get inside the gates. We are not trying to be anything fancy. We just make the pipes that eventually go under the ground. Most people never even think about pipes until they really need them. We work with raw materials and very high heat. It is dirty work most of the time, but it is necessary. The local tea stalls just outside our gate are always packed with workers during their break times. We have seen this whole area change over the years, but the work we do stays the same. We just keep the production line moving as best as we can. It is a steady rhythm here in Midnapur.
