Ramsarup Lohh Udyog Limited is situated in the Kharida Bangali Para area of Kharagpur. It’s an interesting part of town, very local and lived-in. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time, dealing with all kinds of iron and metal requirements. The building itself is plain, just a functional space for our operations. Most days, you’ll hear the sound of the workers moving stuff around. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting here. The dust gets everywhere, but that’s expected in our line of business. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone like that. It’s just us, the people who actually do the work. We make sure the inventory is counted right and that everything is ready for the trucks when they arrive. Sometimes there’s a delay with the transport, and we just sit around and talk until things get moving again. It’s a simple life, really. We follow the same schedule every week. Kharagpur is a big railway town, so there’s always a sense of movement around us. Our corner in Bangali Para is where we feel most at home. We know the neighbors and they know what we do. There isn't any mystery to it. We just provide the materials that people need for their projects and keep the business running as best as we can. We usually finish up around six and lock everything up tight for the night.
