Vatshaly Kisan Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Dadanpur Ahirauli, over in the Mau district. We are a producer company, which means a lot of local farmers are involved in what we do. The address is just in the village of Ahirauli. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have a high-rise office or a receptionist. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting in a room with a fan, going over the numbers for the month. We help the local kisan with their crops and try to find better ways to sell what we grow. Mau is a place where agriculture is everything, so we stay busy. We have a few computers now to help with the government filings, but mostly it’s still paper and ink. It gets dusty because of the tractors passing by, but that’s normal here. We don't try to sound like a big city company because we aren't. We are just people from Dadanpur working together. Sometimes we have long discussions about the price of wheat or rice. We keep our tools and some supplies in the back room. It’s not organized like a supermarket, but we know where to find the things we need. We just take it one day at a time and try to make sure the company stays in the green. It’s hard work, but we are used to it by now.
