Aurai Unnat Kisan Producer Company Limited is our group. We are in Jiyapur Gohilaon, which is in the Bhadohi area of Sant Ravidas Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Kapildev is a local here and we use his place as our main contact point. We are all farmers from this area. Bhadohi is where we belong. We started this producer company because it’s hard to survive as a single farmer these days. We wanted a way to work together and share our knowledge. Our office is just a simple spot in the village of Jiyapur Gohilaon. The zip code is 221402. We don't have a big marketing budget or any polished advertisements. We just rely on each other. Most of our time is spent out in the heat of the fields. We deal with the seeds, the fertilizer, and the harvest when it comes. It’s not an easy life, but it’s what we know. We named it Aurai Unnat Kisan because we want to improve our farming. We keep things very basic and straightforward. We talk about the rain and the market just like our fathers did. Being a company helps us with the paperwork and the buying. We are just local people trying to get a fair price for our hard work. It’s an honest living here in Sant Ravidas Nagar. We just keep doing our best every season to make it work.
