Gajvakra Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Kopaganj, right in the Kopa Kohna area of Mau. If you know Maunathbhanjan, you know how much farming happens in these parts. We are a small group of people who decided to register this company to help manage what we grow. It is mostly about getting the local crops sorted and finding the right people to buy them. There isn't much to say about our office, it's a practical space where we deal with the daily chores of running a farm group. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it's wheat or something else. Most days involve talking to the local guys who bring their stuff in. We have to keep track of everything on paper, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The roads around here can be tricky during the rain, so getting the trucks in and out is a big part of what we do. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary for the community. We are just regular people from the village. No one here wears a suit. We just want to make sure the farming stays sustainable for the long run.
