Shri Tilak Inter College

We are located in Neemgaon, out in the Mathura district. It’s a part of Uttar Pradesh where things move a bit slower compared to the big cities. The college has been standing here for years, and it's where most local kids end up for their schooling. You can find us easily enough if you're coming through the main part of the village. The rooms are basic, just walls and benches, but they serve the purpose for teaching the local boys and girls. Most of us who work here have been around for a long time. We see the same faces every morning coming through the gate. There is a lot of green space around, which is nice when it isn’t too hot outside. During the monsoon, the ground gets a bit muddy, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place for education where people show up, do their work, and go home. Sometimes the roof needs a bit of fixing or the paint gets old, but that’s just part of having an old building in this area. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. If you need to talk to us, you just come by the office in Neemgaon. It’s a straightforward life here, focused on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students are actually learning something useful for their future. Everyone knows each other here and we just keep the doors open daily.
