Dixit Public School Shiksha Samiti

Dixit Public School Shiksha Samiti is located in Ronchi Bangar, which is right in the Refinary Nagar area of Mathura. Because we are near the refinery, the area has a very specific feel to it with lots of industrial workers and families living in the surrounding quarters. Our school is a modest building that sits on a bit of land where we try to keep some grass growing, though the Mathura heat makes that difficult. We have been at this 281006 address for a good while now. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking the gates and making sure the classrooms are ready for the day's lessons. The rooms aren't very big, but we make use of every inch of space we have. There is often a bit of a smell from the industrial plants nearby, but you get used to it after a few days. We are a small team here and we do most of the maintenance ourselves, like oiling the hinges on the doors or patching up the plaster on the walls. It is a very practical place with no frills or expensive equipment. We just provide a space for the local children in Ronchi Bangar to come and spend their day. The commute can be a bit rough because of the heavy trucks on the roads, but once you are inside the school walls, it feels a lot more peaceful and settled.
