Jevan Jyoti Public School

Our school is located in Husaini village, right on the Shergar-Kosi Road. It is out here in the Mathura district, not too far from Jaatwari. It can get dusty with the traffic passing by on the main road, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We have got a decent-sized area for the classes. People from around Chatta and the nearby villages send their kids here. It's a practical place. We don't use big words to describe it. We have teachers who come from the surrounding towns to help out. Morning assembly happens in the open area if the weather is good. When it rains, we move everything inside. It gets muddy on the road outside during the monsoon. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean and making sure the students have what they need for their lessons. Books, pencils, and the usual stuff. It is a quiet life most of the time, except when the bell rings for lunch. Then it gets noisy for a bit. We have been running this for a while now. Families know us by name. We just focus on the daily schedule and getting through the syllabus. It isn't always easy keeping everything running smoothly in a village setting, but we do the work. The sun sets behind the fields, and we head home. Just another day in Mathura. It is what we do, and it keeps us busy enough.
