Shri Sujan Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our office is located at House N.59 in Ward No. 8 of Kantaphod. It’s a regular house where we run the Shri Sujan Farmer Producer Company. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lights. Most of the people who work here are local farmers themselves. We started this because we wanted to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing. The house is usually quite busy with people dropping by to talk about seeds or to check on their accounts. We have a few old fans that try their best to keep the room cool in the summer. It’s a very basic environment. We don’t have any secretaries or formal meetings. We just sit down and talk about what needs to be done. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. It feels like home because it is a home. We spend a lot of time looking at the market prices and worrying about the rain. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we handle it as a group. Kantaphod is a small town, so word travels fast if we are doing something new. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. No one here is trying to act like a big businessman. We are just people from the village trying to make the farming business work a little better for everyone involved.
