Mo Badodiya Shivoham Farmer Producer Company Limited is our little collective. We run things through Ramchandra and Jagannath Singh over in Madana. It’s a small place but it serves us well. We decided to put "Shivoham" in the name because it means something to us personally. The company is basically just a bunch of neighbors in Mo Badodiya who wanted to pool our resources. Farming alone is getting harder every year with the prices of everything going up. So we use the house in Madana as our headquarters. It’s not a formal office. You’ll usually find someone drinking tea and looking over some ledgers. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people knowing who we are. We handle everything from buying seeds to figuring out where the trucks should go. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We aren't perfect and we make mistakes like anyone else. But we are honest about it and we try to learn. We just want to keep our farms going and maybe make things a little easier for the next generation. Madana is a quiet spot, and that’s how we like it. We just focus on the soil and the crops and let the rest take care of itself. There is always something to do so we stay busy.
