Our company is called Padmahasta Overseas Farmer Producer Company Limited. Even though the name sounds a bit big with Overseas in it, we are really just a local group in Akodara, which is near Akodada, postcode 458667. We are based at Dolatram’s house, he is the son of Nanuram. It’s a simple place where we manage the collective work of the farmers around here. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a room with some files and a few chairs for when the members come to visit. Dolatram is the one who keeps things running on a daily basis. We spend most of our time thinking about the crops and how to get them to market without too much trouble. It's a lot of manual work and the office stuff is just to keep us legal and organized. The village life is quiet and we like it that way. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy presentations. We just want to make sure the farming goes well for everyone involved.
