Phoenix College

Phoenix College is situated in Vailathur, which is a part of the Malappuram district. We are a local institution where students from the nearby villages and towns come to continue their education after school. The building is a plain, functional structure that sits along the main road, making it easy for students to reach by bus. We don't have any of the luxury facilities found in city colleges, but we have the essentials like classrooms, a small library, and a place for students to sit during their free time. The atmosphere here is usually quite relaxed, though it gets serious when the exam season approaches. Most of our staff are locals who have lived in Malappuram for years. We spend our days managing the timetable and making sure the lectures are happening as planned. During the rainy season, the weather can make things a bit difficult with the dampness and the noise on the roof, but we just carry on with our work. It is a straightforward place for students who want to get their degrees without traveling too far from home. We don't have a marketing team or fancy brochures. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It is a regular college with regular people, just trying to provide a decent education in this part of the state. You will see our students waiting at the Vailathur stop every evening, talking about their day before heading home to their families.
