Noble Women'S College

Noble Women’S College sits on Pullancheri Road in the Vettakode area of Manjeri. If you’re familiar with Malappuram, you’ll know this part of town well. The pincode here is 676122. This college is specifically for women, and we see a lot of students coming in from all the nearby towns every single day. The walk up Pullancheri Road is quite busy in the mornings. Our building isn't huge, but it fits everyone inside for their lectures. We have a lot of young women here who are working hard on their degrees. The atmosphere is generally quite serious during class hours, but you’ll hear plenty of laughter and talking during the breaks in the common areas. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just notices about exams or upcoming schedules. The staff works from a small office near the entrance where we try to keep track of all the admissions and records. It’s a lot of paper to move around. Malappuram can get very rainy, so there are often a lot of umbrellas drying by the door during the monsoon months. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place for local women to come and get their education so they can move on to the next step in their lives. The days are long, but we’ve been doing this for a while and we have a good routine down now.
