Malabar College Of Advanced Studies

Malabar College Of Advanced Studies is situated out in O.K Muri, Vengara. If you know Malappuram, you know it’s a place with a lot of greenery and hills. The college sits in a spot that feels a bit removed from the main town rush, which is nice for the students. We have people coming from all over the district for their studies. The building is fairly large, and the hallways are wide enough for the crowds that gather between classes. It’s a college, so the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed than a school, but during exam season, the library is always full. You’ll see students sitting under the trees or near the canteen, talking about their projects or just life in general. The weather here in Kerala can be quite humid, so the fans are always going in the classrooms. Sometimes the rain is so heavy that you can barely hear the lecturers over the sound of the roof. We have a decent staff of people who have been teaching here for a while and they know the local area well. It’s not a place with shiny new things everywhere, but it has everything needed for the courses. The canteen food is usually what everyone talks about, especially the tea and snacks in the evening. It’s just a regular college life here in Vengara for the youth who come here every single day.
