Malabar College Of Advanced Studies, Vengara is situated inside Inkel City. It’s a part of Malappuram in Kerala, 676519. Being in Inkel City gives it a bit of a different feel than being right in the middle of a town. It’s a bit more spread out. The students here come from all over the local area. We spend a lot of our time in the office or the classrooms just getting through the syllabus. The weather in Kerala can be pretty intense, so we are often dealing with heat or a lot of rain. It’s just a regular college where people come to get their degrees and move on with their lives. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s mostly just desks, labs, and people talking in the corridors. You can see the green hills sometimes if the sky is clear enough. The staff here are just local folks for the most part. We like to keep things simple. If a fan stops working, someone fixes it. If we need more chalk, we buy it. There isn't a big corporate board making every little decision. It’s just a local institution in Malappuram trying to do a good job for the students who show up every morning. We have been here for a while and most people in Vengara know where to find us. It is a quiet place to study and get things done.
