Eranad Agro Farm Llp

We are set up over here in Chennamangallur. It’s a quiet place most days, except when the harvest is ready or the monsoon hits hard. A few of us got together to run this farm because we had some land and wanted to see what we could do with it. Most mornings start pretty early, usually before the sun gets too hot, because once midday hits, you do not want to be out in the fields if you can help it. We have a small building at 19/32 where we keep our tools and some of the records. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we sit and talk about what needs planting next. Some days it feels like we are just fighting against the bugs or the dry weather, but that is just how farming goes in this part of the state. We do not spend much time on the computer or writing big plans. We just look at the dirt and see what is coming up. If you walk past the post office, you will find us easily enough. Sometimes we have extra stuff to sell and sometimes we do not. It really depends on how the season treated the crops. There are always chores to do, like fixing a fence or checking the water lines. We just try to keep things moving and hope the rain comes when it is supposed to.
