Othayi Mythri Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Perakamanna, specifically at Door No 388/Bothayi. It’s mostly just a bunch of us locals working together. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or meeting up to figure out how to handle the crops better this season. The weather around here has been a bit unpredictable lately, but that’s just how it goes with farming. Perakamanna is a quiet place and we like it that way. Most of the people involved have been living in this part of the world their whole lives. It’s not a fancy setup. We have our office in Bothayi and that’s where the paperwork happens when we aren't busy with the actual plants. Sometimes things get a little disorganized when the harvest comes all at once, but we manage. You’ll find us talking about soil and seeds more than anything else. It's about getting the produce out there and making sure the folks growing it get a fair shake. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just some neighbors trying to run a business that makes sense for the community. If you ever pass by the P O in Perakamanna, you're pretty much right where we are. It’s basic, honest work and we take it one day at a time without too much fuss or complicated plans. It's been like this for a bit now and we just keep going.
