Our company is Nardc Aquaponics Futurists (Opc) Private Limited and we are located right on the Main Roadnanniode Po. It is a small setup where we focus on aquaponics, which is basically growing fish and plants together. It sounds a bit complicated but once you see the tanks and the grow beds, it makes more sense. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. Since it is an OPC, it’s a more personal operation. Being at Main Roadnanniode Po makes it easy for people to stop by or for us to get supplies delivered. Nanniode is a quiet enough place, but having the business right there keeps us busy. We spend a lot of time checking water levels and making sure the fish are healthy. It’s a lot of manual labor, cleaning filters and checking on the greens. We don't really have a marketing person, so we just tell people what we do if they ask. It’s a practical way of farming and we like the challenge of it. The office part is just a small desk where we keep the records and the permits. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make this system work here in our local area. Some days the pump breaks or the weather is too hot, but we just fix what needs fixing and keep going. If you're driving down the road near Nanniode Po, you're close to where we do our work. We just keep to ourselves mostly and work hard.
