Vinitas Salon & Day Spa

We’re located at No 1, Chockalinga Nagar in Madurai, right near the Dinamalar office. It’s a spot that’s easy enough for people to find once they get into the neighborhood. Most days we are busy with people coming in for various things like hair styling or skin treatments. It’s a salon and spa, so we try to keep things reasonably quiet, but with the hairdryers and people chatting, it’s never completely silent. The staff here has been together for a while, so we kind of know how each other works without having to say much. We get a lot of ladies from the surrounding areas who just want to get their hair done or spend an hour relaxing. It’s not a huge place, just enough room to get the job done properly. Sometimes we run behind schedule when a customer wants something extra, and we just have to ask the next person to wait a bit. We don’t have those fancy automatic doors or anything, just a normal shop front. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they work nearby at the newspaper office. It’s a local business through and through. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure people leave looking a bit better than when they walked in. The coffee shop next door usually keeps us going during the busy afternoon rush.
