Look Man Hair Dressers is sitting right on 8, Jawahar Nagar 7Th Street in Tirumangalam. If you know where Pudunagar is, you basically know where we are because it is very close by. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main roads of Madurai, but there is still plenty of movement. We have been in this spot for a while and the locals know the name well. The shop isn't anything massive, just a regular space with the usual tools and a couple of revolving chairs that squeak a little bit when you turn them. We spend a lot of time just waiting for the next person to walk through the door, especially during those slow afternoon hours when the sun is really hitting the pavement outside. We keep a stack of old newspapers and some magazines on the side table for anyone who has to wait. Usually, it is just one or two people at a time. We don't go for anything polished or corporate here because that is just not how we do things in this part of town. It is about getting your hair cut and maybe talking about the cricket score or what is happening in the street. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always grabbing the broom. It is a basic setup, but it works for us and the people who live around 7th street.
