Fresh Hair Fixing

If you know Nethaji Road in Madurai, you probably know the Pandidurai Complex. That is where we are, at No 254. We are quite close to Hotel Empee, which is a good landmark if you are new to this part of town. This place is called Fresh Hair Fixing. We don’t do the usual haircuts you get at a barber shop. We focus on fixing hair issues, which is a bit more complicated and takes a lot of time and patience. It is a small shop and we have a lot of tools lying around. Sometimes it looks a bit messy because we are always in the middle of a job. We don’t have a big reception or anything like that. You just walk in and we talk about what needs to be done. It’s hot in Madurai so we try to keep the fans going all day long. Most of our customers come through word of mouth. Someone tells a friend and then they show up here. We just sit here and work on the hair pieces and the fixing. It’s quiet work mostly. We have been in this complex for a while now and the neighbors are all friendly. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Madurai. We just want to finish the work we have on our desk today. It is a regular job for us and we just take it one day at a time.
