Site Engineer

I’m K. Prakash, and I run Site Engineer from 4E Chockalinga Nagar, on the 2nd Street off the Bye Pass Road in Madurai. If you have ever been to Madurai, you know the heat is no joke, and working outside all day really takes it out of you. My work isn't about sitting in a cool room; it's about being right there where the dust is flying and the hammers are going. I spend a lot of my time checking the alignment of walls and making sure the materials we get are worth the money. I don't use a lot of fancy marketing speak because that doesn't build a house. Practical experience is what matters when you're standing on a construction site. I’ve been doing this for a while, and my approach is pretty straightforward. If something is wrong, we fix it right then. I talk to the workers in a way they understand, and I talk to the clients without all the confusing jargon. It is a busy life, always moving from one spot to another along the bypass. My hands are usually rough and my clothes are often stained with site dirt, but that's just the nature of the job. We keep it simple, focus on the structural side of things, and try to make sure every job is done as solid as possible. It is just everyday work for us.
