Larsen & Toubro Ltd.,Panipat

Even though our name says Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Panipat, we are actually located down in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It sounds a bit confusing to some people, but that is just how the paperwork worked out for this branch. We are right on 12/21A, Jawahar Main Road in Chokikulam. It’s a busy part of the city. There’s always someone passing by the window. The heat in Madurai is something you just get used to after a while. We keep the doors open when there is a breeze. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we stay on top of the logistics and local coordination. The 625010 area has changed quite a bit with new shops opening up along the main road. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near the building, so we usually just walk or take the bus. We spend our mornings responding to emails and the afternoons checking on the site details. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. People stop in occasionally to ask for directions or to drop off documents. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby. Just a few chairs and the sound of the traffic outside. It's a very practical environment where we focus on getting the tasks finished so we can go home to our families in the evening. It’s a simple life for the most part.
