Kalai Prabhu Engineering Works

Kalai Prabhu Engineering Works is located at No 4/334 in Auto Nagar, Seelanakanpatti. This area is mostly workshops and garages, so we fit right in. We deal with a lot of mechanical stuff and metal repairs. The shop is usually covered in oil and grease, which is just part of the job. We have a few machines that have been around as long as the business has. They still work fine if you know how to handle them. Most of our customers are from the transport sector since we are in Auto Nagar. They bring in truck parts or engine blocks that need some work. We don't have a front desk. You just walk into the shed and find whoever isn't under a machine at that moment. It's a loud place with the sound of hammers and drills going most of the day. We’ve been here in Seelanakanpatti for years. We know the local shop owners and we all help each other out when we need a specific tool. It's a simple setup. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. People just know where the shop is. The heat can be tough in the summer, especially with the roof being metal, but we just keep the fans going. It’s a place where we solve problems with our hands and some old-fashioned hard work. Sometimes it is tiring, but we have been doing this for so long that we just keep going.
