Rampal

Our place is at 422 A in K.K. Nagar. It’s a straightforward address for a straightforward business. We go by the name Rampal, which is also the name of the owner. Making things more complicated than they need to be isn't our style. The shop is a small, functional space where we handle various trading tasks. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We have some shelves for stock and a desk for the paperwork, and that’s about it. K.K. Nagar is a residential area with a lot of small shops tucked in between the houses. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People around here know us, and we know them. Big promotions or acting like a major corporation isn't for us. We just open up in the morning, see what needs to be done, and get to it. Sometimes it’s a lot of small errands and other times we have larger orders to coordinate. The pace changes from day to day. We like the independence of running our own small spot. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood. There’s usually a pot of tea going and a chair for anyone who drops by to talk business. We finish up in the evening, tidy up the desk, and head out. It’s just a simple, local business run by real people who care about doing a decent job.
