India Steels

India Steels is situated at 7, South Bypass in Palanganatham. We are quite close to the old Natraj Theatre, which most locals use as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. The bypass is always humming with traffic, so there is never really a quiet moment at our gates. We have been here since before some of the newer buildings went up around us. We deal with steel supplies, mostly for construction and local fabricators who need reliable material. The yard is usually full of stacked rods and sheets, and it takes a bit of navigating to walk through it without tripping over something. We aren't big on technology or fancy tracking systems; we mostly know where everything is just by looking at the piles. Our day starts early to beat the heat, though in Palanganatham it stays warm most of the year. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years, and they know the stock better than anyone else. It's a straightforward operation. We don't promise anything we can't do, and we don't try to sound like a big corporation. We are just a local steel yard trying to stay busy and helpful to the builders in the area. If you come by during the break, you'll probably see us drinking tea by the front entrance talking about the day.
