Our office is located at 465 Bharathi Street in K.K.Nagar. We are Apex Match Consortium (India) Pvt. Ltd. and we mostly handle matters related to the match industry. If you haven't been to K.K.Nagar, it's a busy residential and commercial mix. Our building is easy to spot once you get onto Bharathi Street. We aren't making the matches right here in the office, of course. This is more of the administrative side where a few of us sit and deal with the paperwork and the logistics for the consortium. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of orders. The room is usually filled with files and some samples of matchboxes from different members of the group. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in at once. We’ve been in this spot for several years and the neighbors know us well. We don’t do a lot of advertising because most people in the trade already know where to find us. It’s not a high-tech setup. We have our desks, our computers, and plenty of tea throughout the day. People drop by to discuss supply stuff or just to catch up on how the market is doing. It’s a steady kind of life. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is right around the corner.
