Volumetric Import & Export

Volumetric Import & Export is based in Focal Point, specifically at Room No. 51 in the Bindra Complex. This is Phase Iv, so it is deep in the industrial heart of the city. We do import and export work, which means we spend a lot of our time measuring things and calculating volumes so we can fit them into containers. The name of the company comes from that, I guess. The complex is a huge place with a lot of different units and a lot of noise. Our room is just big enough for our desks, a computer, and a few tall filing cabinets. It is not the most beautiful view out the window, just a lot of trucks and other gray warehouses. We are always busy with customs forms and shipping schedules. It can be quite stressful when a ship is late or the paperwork gets stuck at the border for no reason. We do not have any polished marketing materials or a fancy website. We just rely on the fact that we know how to move goods from one place to another. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sending emails to agents in different ports. We keep a pot of tea going most of the time to keep us moving. It is a gritty, hardworking environment, but we have been here long enough that it feels like home.
