King Crust Baker

King Crust Baker is tucked away in Aman Nagar, right at Shop No 18 in Bhoura. We’re pretty close to the Jalahnder Bypass and Silver Kunj. It’s a busy little corner. The ovens are usually going early in the morning before most people are even awake. It gets pretty warm in the back, especially during the summer months. We don't have a giant factory; it’s just our shop and the kitchen area. Sometimes the smell of baking drifts out onto the street, which is nice. We spend a lot of time cleaning flour off the counters and making sure the supplies are stocked. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags and staying on our feet. We aren't some big chain with polished floors. The floor here has seen a lot of boots over the years. We have regular customers who stop by on their way to work or when they’re heading home. We know a lot of them by name. It’s a local spot through and through. The traffic from the bypass can be loud, but we’ve gotten used to the rumble of the trucks. We just focus on the dough and the timers. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. We try to do our best every day and keep the shelves filled. Nothing fancy, just a local bakery doing its thing. We've been here a while and seen many things change, but the smell of bread stays the same.
