Venus General Store

I’ve been working at Venus General Store for quite a while now. We are located at Shop No 1 on Pindi Street here in Ludhiana. If you know the area, it’s right in the middle of the Chemist Market. It gets pretty busy around here since we are also near Jain Bag House and the Book Market. Just right next to us is the Bijlee Market in Sadar Bazar. People usually stop by when they are already out doing their errands or looking for supplies in the nearby shops. The shop itself is just a regular spot where we keep the usual things folks need. It’s not fancy or anything like that, but we try to keep the shelves stocked with the daily essentials. Being so close to different markets means we see a lot of different people coming through every day. Some people are looking for books, others are getting electrical parts, and they just happen to drop in. It’s a convenient location if you’re already in this part of town for work or shopping. Most of the people who come in live around the Sadar Bazar area or have shops nearby. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so most of the regulars know exactly where to find us without even looking at the sign. It’s a simple setup, just one room filled with products. We spend most of our day organizing the stock and talking to the people who walk in from the street.
