Vaishno General Store

If you have ever been to Chaura Bazar in Ludhiana, you know how packed it gets. Vaishno General Store is at Shop Number- 20, right in the middle of all that noise and movement. Being near Khushi Ram Halwai and the Gur Mandi area means there is always a smell of sweets and spices in the air. It’s a busy spot in Mahalaxmi Market. We spend most of our time just managing the stock because people are always coming in for one thing or another. The shop isn't very big, but we try to keep it organized enough so we can find what someone asks for. Ludhiana - 141008 is a city that never really stays quiet, and this market is proof of that. We see all kinds of people every day. Some are regulars who have been coming here for years, and others are just passing through the bazar. Sometimes the lanes are so thin it’s hard to get supplies inside, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. It's just a local shop where we sell daily items like pulses and sugar. Being near the halwai is nice because it helps people find us easily. You just walk down the street and look for Shop Number 20. It's a simple life, opening up early and closing late when the market finally starts to quiet down. That's basically what we do every single day of the week, just keeping the shelves filled.
