V. K. Kalra Hosiery Works

We are located at E-205 in Focal Point Phase - 4. V. K. Kalra Hosiery Works is right in the middle of the industrial area, so it’s always busy around here with trucks and other businesses. It’s a noisy place to work, but you get used to the sound of the hosiery machines after a few days. We’ve been here for quite a while now, and the building has seen a lot of use. Inside, it’s mostly rows of machines and bins full of socks and other hosiery items. We don't have a fancy showroom or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find us on the floor checking the knitting or bagging up the finished products. The floors are concrete and the lighting is just those long fluorescent tubes, but it works for what we do. We aren't trying to be trendy; we just make hosiery and try to keep the quality decent. Some days the heat in the Focal Point area is pretty intense, and the warehouse can get stuffy, but we keep the fans going. We don’t go in for fancy marketing talk. We just focus on the machines and the orders we have to fill. It’s hard work, and your hands get tired by the end of the shift, but there’s a sense of satisfaction in seeing the piles of finished goods. We’ve been doing this a long time and we know the business inside and out.
