M/S Heena International, Ludhiana

We are based in Ludhiana and we have been working in international trade for a long time. The office deals with a lot of exports and managing connections in other countries, especially around the CIS region. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking shipments. Ludhiana is a city that never stops, and we are right in the thick of it. Our work involves a lot of talking to managers and coordinating with people far away. The language barrier can be a bit tricky sometimes, but we manage with a lot of emails and patience. We don't have a fancy showroom. Our space is filled with files, shipping documents, and tea cups. It’s a busy environment. We spend hours on the phone trying to make sure the goods get where they are going. Sometimes there are delays at the ports or issues with the trucks, and we have to stay late to sort it out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve built up a lot of contacts over the years just by being consistent. We don't go for big presentations. We just give people the facts and the prices. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. The office can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once, but that’s just a normal day for M/S Heena International. We just keep pushing forward.
