Our place is right on Lalheri road, very close to the power grid. It is a good landmark because everyone in the area knows where the focal point is. The road is always busy with trucks and people going to work. We have a modest setup here at 339/27. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a plain brick building where we spend most of our waking hours. Inside, the air usually smells like grease and cold metal. We have got a couple of old machines that still run better than the new ones we see in catalogs. Some days it is freezing in the winter, and we have to wrap up in thick jackets just to hold the tools. In the summer, it is the exact opposite. We do not have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for the company. It is just a few of us making sure everything is decent before it leaves the door. We see the same faces every week, mostly local guys needing specific parts or some quick repairs. We do not promise the moon; we just do what we can with the skills we have picked up over the years. The power grid hums in the background, and we just keep our heads down and work. Sometimes we sit outside on old stools for a bit when the weather is nice. (247 words)
